Good morning, Internet people.

RB here, bringing you the good word from the PA universe. As you may know, we’ll be performing at Live 105’s BFD 2013 on May 19, so we’re filling up the calendar for May leading up to the day with shows across California.

After many requests on social media, we are finally returning to San Luis Obispo on May 2. We’re supporting Briertone at SLO Brew with Fialta, and the notoriously groovy GoldBoot. 7:30pm show time/all ages. 

You can purchase $10 advance tickets here or pay $12 at the door.

We’ll be stopping by Boo Boo Records to do some record shopping before the show, so check our Twitter updates for the time and come hang out with us! 

The next night on May 3 we head back to Kuppajoe in Fresno. GoldBoot will be coming with us to this gig in case you miss the SLO show. More bands to be announced. 7:30pm show time/all ages. More information can be found here. 

We finish the weekend on May 4 with a show at AMPLYFi in Hollywood. We’re supporting The Brobecks, with Wetwood Smokes also on the bill. 5:30pm doors, 6pm set time/all ages. Venue information can be found here. 

This show is already sold out, but we do have a limited number of tickets available for Picture Atlantic fans. Send us an email with the subject line “Hollywood” for more information on how to purchase tickets. 

We were honored to be asked to perform at Popscene on May 9 with the brehs Finish Ticket and Little Daylight from Brooklyn. This show is 18+, starts at 9:00pm and $10 tickets are only available at the door. Come dance to as many tracks as I can convince Aaron Axelsen to spin in between incredible live sets.

On May 10 we return to Santa Cruz at The Crepe Place to support The Huxtables. Kepi Ghoulie are also performing. 9pm show. Venue information can be found here. 

May 18, the night before BFD, we finish up the run at Trinity Gold Media Studios in Napa. The lineup is TBA but we’ll update you shortly. 7:30pm/all ages. Directions and venue info can be found here. 

Finally, on May 19, we will be performing at Live 105’s BFD 2013 at Shoreline Ampitheater in Mountain View. The day begins at 11am. We perform on the local stage around 4pm, official set time pending.

The lineup includes DJ Shadow, Crystal Method, Rin Tin Tiger, Finish Ticket, Tumbleweed Wanderers, Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men, Silversun Pickups and many more.

Feb. 10th-19th we’ll be out on the road visiting the California that we love so much! Check out www.pictureatlantic.com/shows for details on a venue near you. This little tour will feature some new music, and will be our last tour before we head back into the studio to finish our new album.

Feb. 11th we are premiering our brand new Two Part Music Video at the next Rock Hop in San Jose, which will feature ourselves, Dogcatcher, Briertone, Girl Named T, and Ghost & The City as our jazzy house band. Best part of this show is that we’ll get the chance to share both parts of the video with you! Feb. 12th, for you out of town or online people, will be the official release of Part One, which is getting exclusively released online through Live 105.3FM. One week later on Feb. 19th, we’ll be releasing part two!

And after that? Well then we hide away in our cave and work on finishing our album. We’re about halfway done, and then we start tracking songs. For all you curious people out there, be sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram, as we’ll be posting pictures from the studio quite frequently. You won’t want to miss the madness.

Our time at Wente Vineyards for the Bottlerockit Festival was truly magical. Amazing food, way too much Five Hour Energy, and rockin trance music. Thank you to everyone who came out to support. I’d also like to take this moment to thank Brian Valdizno for tagging along and shooting some awesome photos of PA, as well as Anna Larina from Skeleton Key Photography for taking pictures of the day, and of the band. Also mad props to A B & The Sea for putting on a killer show, and of course mad props to Young Science as well, whose set we weren’t able to catch (as we were playing), but would have liked to be there none the less.
